All new clients are required to provide a credit card upon booking. This can be done through the online booking system. Studio J Massage and Skin Therapy is a one-person practice and does not answer phone calls while with clients. If you choose to book over the phone, please leave a message. Missed calls without a voicemail will not be returned.
*Please keep in mind we’re located on the second floor of our building and unfortunately there is no elevator if you are unable to do stairs*
UPDATE: As of June 2nd, 2021, masks are no longer required!
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our workforce and visitors, I ask that you please abide by the following: If you have been diagnosed with or exposed to someone who has tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment.
When you arrive, please wait in your car and text me at 440-454-6051 to let me know you are here. When I am ready, I will let you know to come on up!
You will be required to fill out a COVID waiver each time you book an appointment and you may be screened on arrival.
If you are feeling sick or showing symptoms of illness such as fever, rash, or infection, massage is contraindicated and should not be performed. If you are showing any symptoms of being sick, your appointment may be rescheduled with no fee to protect the health and safety of other clients and your therapist.
All surfaces and door knobs are sanitized between each client. All linens including sheets, towels, and blankets are changed out between each client to get laundered. Any non-single use implements or tools used are disinfected after every use. Handwashing takes place before and after each session and hand sanitizer is provided.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to ensure you receive the full time for your service. This allows me to discuss any concerns or focus areas you may have , change, and use the restroom if necessary
If you arrive late, your time may be shortened to accommodate appointments scheduled after you.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
At Studio J Massage and Skin Therapy we understand that sometimes things happen and you can’t make it to your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 12 hours notice. Any cancellation made less than 12 hours will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee is $40.
Anyone who forgets or chooses not to come to their scheduled appointment for any reason will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged the entire cost of their service. Pre-payment will be required for all future appointments.
Studio J Massage and Skin Therapy is strictly professional and enforces a strict zero tolerance sexual harassment policy. This includes but is not limited to inappropriate behavior, suggestive comments, and soliciting for extras. Should you decide to engage in any of the above, your massage session will be immediately terminated. You will be asked to get dressed and you will be charged the full cost of the service. You will be banned from booking any future appointments.
I want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible! Please let me know if I need to adjust the pressure being used, or if the music is too loud, or if you want more or less focus to an area!
It is your choice to undress to your comfort level, ask me not to use certain techniques if they are uncomfortable, or to stop the massage at any time!
I respect your privacy therefore all information and discussion during your appointment will remain confidential and not discussed with anyone else
